Why it matters: Ceramide levels can drop by up to 40% between your 30s and 50s. That's the single biggest reason skin becomes drier and more reactive.

Cetearyl Olivate

This is one of our emulsifiers, which prevents oil and water from separating in Dew Drop. It is super gentle on your skin and will deeply soften and smoothen skin. It also helps to stabilise oil and water emulsions. It opens the pathway for other active ingredients to absorb into your skin, without compromising your skin barrier.
Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate

This is one of our plant-derived emollients which bonds water and oil in the formula. It is super gentle on sensitive skin and ensures a non-greasy feel while helping to maintain the skin barrier.
Sorbitan Olivate

A naturally derived olive oil-based emulsifier that helps create a smooth, lightweight texture while supporting the skin’s moisture barrier.

Benzyl Alcohol

We're about to be very transparent with you here. This is our chosen preservative system in our skincare range. Benzyl alcohol is a powerful broad-spectrum anti-bacterial preservative used to stabilise skincare. It is multi-purpose (think Tailor) as it also helps dissolve other ingredients and decreases the viscosity (thickness) of formulas so they flow more easily - you know that squeeze of free-flow gel.
Dehydroacetic Acid

One of our preservatives in Dew Drop with a potent anti-fungal to keep this cleanser safe to use for longer - because we all love a long shelf life. When mixed (& matched) with benzyl alcohol they create a broad-spectrum preservative against yeasts, moulds and funguses. Take note, our preservative system is synthetically derived and is ECOCERT certified to be used in natural skincare.
Citric Acid

An exfoliator to remove dead skin cells on your skin, to deeply cleanse pores, smoothen skin tone and soften your skin. In the case of Dew Drops, it is uses as PH adjuster to get to the optimal PH for your skin.
